NOTES: The 2010 Izod IndyCar Series takes off this week for the inaugural visit to Brazil for the Sao Paulo Indy 300. This is the first of 17 races on the IndyCar schedule. Tony Kanaan is expected to make his 115th straight start this week. Kanaan has the most consecutive starts among active drivers. Scott Dixon has posted 32 consecutive top-10 starts, placing him in a tie with Sam Hornish Jr. for the all-time series record. Reigning series champion Dario Franchitti, who won five races last year, will attempt to become only the third driver to win back-to-back IndyCar titles. Sam Hornish Jr. was the last driver to accomplish the feat from 2001-02. Helio Castroneves has 73 career top-five finishes and 98 top-10's, which is the most in series history. Over the past nine seasons, Castroneves has at least one race victory. The Izod IndyCar Series returns to the United States for the March 28th Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on the Streets of St. Petersburg, FL.
