Kidd joins JGR's No.20 Nationwide team

Huntersville, NC (Sports Network) - Joe Gibbs Racing announced on Tuesday that Kevin Kidd will serve as crew chief for its No.20 entry during the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season.

Kidd replaces Dave Rogers, who recently was appointed as crew chief for Kyle Busch's No.18 car in the Sprint Cup Series. Kidd spent the past four years at Richard Petty Motorsports, where he previously served as race engineer for Elliott Sadler's No.19 car.

"We're excited to have Kevin join our team here at JGR," team president J.D. Gibbs said in a statement. "We already have a great team in place, and Kevin will provide great leadership to them. His experience and knowledge should help keep us up front where our sponsors deserve to be each week."

Sprint Cup regulars Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin, as well as Nationwide newcomer Matt DiBenedetto are expected to share driving duties with JGR's No.20 team this coming season.
