NOTES: Last season, Clint Bowyer raced to victory, as he crossed the finish line under the caution to post his fourth career Nationwide Series title. Bowyer dominated the race, leading 120 laps, including the final 14 to take the checkered flag ahead of Matt Kenseth. In five races at Phoenix, Bowyer has three top-five finishes. Pole sitter Kyle Busch, who led the first 33 laps, failed to finish the race due to an accident and placed 37th. In 2006, Kevin Harvick crossed the finish line 0.359 of a second ahead of Reed Sorenson for his 19th career Nationwide Series title. Harvick, who started in the 14th position, reclaimed the lead on lap 156 and held on for the win. Pole sitter Jason Leffler led for a race-high 78 laps, but finished a disappointing 22nd. Harvick led twice during the race for a total of 53 laps. Harvick has fared well in the desert, posting top five results in his last five RCR Phoenix races. In this race, Harvick has three straight top-10 finishes. When Greg Biffle won in 2005, he recovered from an early race spin to cross the finish line just under two seconds ahead of runner-up Elliott Sadler for his 17th Nationwide career title. His 1.969 seconds win is the largest margin of victory for any Nationwide Series event held at Phoenix. The next race on the Nationwide Series schedule is set for Saturday, April 20th at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, where Juan Pablo Montoya captured the 2007 event. 04/08 17:23:22 ET
