Kevin Harvick Inc. names crew chiefs for 2010

Kernersville, NC (Sports Network) - Kevin Harvick Inc. announced on Friday that Dave Fuge and Doug George have joined the team for the 2010 Camping World Truck Series season.

Fuge will serve as the crew chief for the No.33 Chevrolet, driven by reigning series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. He replaces Rick Ren, who left KHI last week to take a management position with Kyle Busch's new truck team. Fuge won back- to-back truck championships as a team owner with Xpress Motorsports from 2002-03.

"For me as a car builder and a former team owner this is a dream come true," Fuge said. "This team has been able to achieve all the things I wanted to accomplish but was never able to when I was a team owner. Kevin and DeLana [Harvick] started this team the way I did, from the ground up, and have watched it flourish. I'm proud to be able to join such a successful organization."

George will take over crew chief duties for KHI's No.2 Chevrolet, with several Sprint Cup Series regulars driving the truck throughout next season. He most recently served in the role at Billy Ballew Motorsports with drivers Aric Almirola and Busch.

"I feel this is a really great opportunity with a world class organization," George said. "This company has proven they can win races. To be honest, I'm just really overwhelmed with the facility and the equipment they have to work with. I'm really happy to be here, and I can't wait to get started on 2010. I'm looking forward to great things."
