NASCAR - Camping World Truck - AAA Insurance 200 Preview

NOTES: In five years of racing at this track, no one has dominated as much as Ron Hornaday Jr. After posting back-to-back third-place finishes in 2005-06, Hornaday Jr captured the 2007 race and then placed second in 2008. Last year, he clipped Mike Skinner by less than a second for his 44th career Truck Series title. Starting fourth on the grid, Hornaday reclaimed the lead on lap 169 and held on to defeat Skinner by 0.202 of a second. Hornaday led twice for a race- high 67 laps, while Skinner led for 61. Pole sitter Colin Braun placed fifth. His win last year was the fourth of five consecutive Truck Series wins. In 2008, Johnny Benson reclaimed the lead on lap 162 and then held off Ron Hornaday Jr for his 12th career Truck Series title. Hornaday dominated the race, leading for a race-high 153 laps. After running second to Hornaday for most of the evening, Benson made the outside pass and grabbed the top spot with 39 laps to go. Then it was Benson's show from there, as he clipped Hornaday by 0.484 of a second. Pole sitter Bobby East led the first four laps, but faded to 19th. Rick Crawford took the checkered flag ahead of Dennis Setzer in 2006, despite a record 11 caution flags, as he won for the fifth time in his Camping World Truck Series career. Crawford led for a race-high 87 laps, as he posted a 0.790 of a second victory. Pole sitter David Ragan led the first 59 laps, but faded and finished ninth. Crawford has not won a Truck Series race since. Dennis Setzer dominated the race in 2005, as he won for the 16th time in his career, defeating Todd Kluever by less than a second. Setzer, who started on the pole, led for 177 of the 200 laps. Setzer added two wins to his win total and now ranks fourth on the all-time list. The pole sitter has captured this race five times, the last coming in 2005, when Setzer took the checkered flag. The July 31st inaugural running of the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway is the next Camping World Truck Series event. This won't be the Camping World Truck Series' initial visit to the Keystone State, as six races were held between 1996 and 2001 at the now defunct Nazareth Speedway. 07/20 20:10:42 ET
