NASCAR - Camping World Truck - WinStar World Casino 400k

NOTES: Last year, Todd Bodine became the first three-time winner of this race, as he outlasted Matt Crafton for his 17th career Truck Series title. Bodine started ninth on the grid and took the lead for the first time on lap 99. Rick Crawford moved in front on the 108th lap, however Bodine reclaimed the lead on lap 125 and held on for a 1.321 seconds win. Pole sitter Johnny Sauter led the first 42 laps, but faded to sixth. Defending champion Ron Hornaday Jr led for 55 laps, but placed 19th. Although Bodine has six top-five finishes in seven races this year, the victory last season has been his last. This week's race will be the 25th Camping World Truck Series event at Texas Motor Speedway. Bodine has won five times at this track, all coming since 2004. Bodine, along with Jack Sprague and Greg Biffle have won the June race and then gone on to capture the series championship in the same season. The late Kenny Irwin Jr scored his second career victory in the inaugural race. In 2008, Hornaday Jr snapped Bodine's two-year stranglehold of this race, as he defeated Kyle Busch by less than a second for the second of six '08 victories. Starting from the third position, Hornaday led seven times for a race-high 140 laps for his 35th career Truck title. Pole sitter Justin Marks finished a distant 14th. Hornaday, who led the final 57 laps, now has 45 career wins. When Bodine won in 2007, he became the second back-to-back champion of this race, as he took the checkered flag less than a second ahead of Mike Skinner. Bodine, who started on the pole, led three times for 27 laps, including the final six, as he posted his then 11th Truck Series title and first since the 2006 event. Ron Hornaday Jr, who finished fourth, led twice for 117 laps. Bodine captured the 2006 Sam's Town 400 (WinStar World Casino 400) with a last lap pass of Mike Skinner. The No.30 Toyota crossed the finish line just one length ahead of Skinner, as he won for the 10th time in his Truck Series career. Bodine led for only one lap, the last as he edged Skinner by 0.116 of a second. Skinner, the pole sitter, led four times for a race-high 113 laps, while Rick Crawford placed third. The Camping World Truck Series continues June 12th for the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway, as Colin Braun defends his title. 06/01 15:36:05 ET
