Rochester, NY (Sports Network) - Washington Nationals minor league pitcher Stephen Strasburg continued his dominance by allowing just three hits in 6 1/3 scoreless innings while pitching for Triple-A Syracuse in a 5-1 win over Rochester Wednesday night.
Strasburg (3-0) fanned nine batters and walked two, and still hasn't given up an earned run over his 18 1/3 innings thrown thus far for the Chiefs. He threw 92 pitches on Wednesday, 60 of them for strikes.
Strasburg was the No. 1 overall draft pick from last year and he signed for a record $15.1 million over four years with the Nationals in August.
