Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Angels activated third baseman Chone Figgins from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.
Figgins resumed his duties at third base after being sidelined with a strained right hamstring. He was 1-for-3 with a single and scored a run in the Angels 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.
The speedy Figgins is now hitting .306 with 11 stolen bases and 19 runs scored in 33 games this season.
To make room for Figgins, the club placed infielder Erick Aybar on the 15-day disabled list with a dislocated right pinkie finger.
His injury occurred diving for a ball on the Rogers Centre turf in the first inning of Tuesday's 3-1 victory over Toronto.
In 43 games this season, Aybar is batting .270 with one home run and 16 RBI.
