Washington, D.C. (Sports Network) - D.C. United re-signed defender Bryan Namoff on Tuesday.
Namoff, 29, has spent his entire MLS career with D.C. He first joined United in 2001, and is tied for fourth in team history with 169 games played.
"I'm proud to have started my career at a prestigious club like United and am excited to remain a part of the team," Namoff said.
Namoff, who has played one time for the U.S. national team, tied a career high by starting and playing in 27 matches last season. He has played in at least 15 games in all but one of his eight seasons.
"We are pleased to have come to terms with Bryan," United General Manager Dave Kasper said. "He has been a solid defender for us during the past eight years and it is great to have him remain at United."
Per team and league policy, terms of the agreement will not be released.
