Pirates recall P McCutchen for start

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled pitcher Daniel McCutchen from Triple-A Indianapolis to make Saturday's start against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The roster spot was made available when Brad Lincoln was optioned to Indianapolis earlier in the week.

McCutchen has appeared in seven games this season, including six starts, and has a 1-4 record with an 8.58 earned run average.
