Mets make several roster moves

Acosta began the season with the Mets, but went 1-2 with an 11.86 earned run average in 19 games before being designated for assignment on May 29. He went 0-1 with a 2.25 ERA in 17 games for Buffalo.

Also on Tuesday, the Mets activated pitcher Matt Harvey from the practice squad and optioned outfielder Lucas Duda and pitcher Pedro Beato to Buffalo.

Harvey is 7-5 with a 3.68 ERA in 20 starts for Buffalo this year and ranks second in the International League with 112 strikeouts.

Duda, a three-year veteran, is hitting .241 with 12 homers and 44 RBI in 89 games this season with the Mets.

Beato posted no record with a 10.38 ERA in seven relief appearances for the Mets this year.
