(Sports Network) - Towering right-hander Aaron Harang takes the hill for the second time this season when the Cincinnati Reds host the Philadelphia Phillies in the second game of a four-game series at Great American Ball Park.

Harang, a 16-game winner in each of the last two seasons, made his 2008 debut on March 31, allowing three hits and two earned runs in six innings of a 4-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

He struck out six and walked two.

The 29-year-old Californian has made six career appearances, including five starts, against the Phillies, going 1-1 with a 7.39 earned run average in 28 innings. He's struck out 19 and walked seven, allowing 23 runs and 39 hits.

Right-hander Adam Eaton returns for his second season with the Phillies.

Now 30, Eaton was 10-10 with a 6.29 ERA in 30 starts with Philadelphia last season after coming over from the Texas Rangers and signing a big free-agent contract.

He was a first-round draft pick of the Phillies in 1996, but didn't reach the majors until 2000 with the San Diego Padres.

Eaton won 47 games in six seasons with the Padres before going to Texas in 2006 and going 7-4 with a 5.12 ERA in just 13 injury-plagued starts.

He's 2-0 in five lifetime starts against the Reds with a 4.35 ERA in 31 innings.

On Friday, Chase Utley homered twice, drove in three runs and crossed the plate three times as the Phillies upended the Reds, 8-4.

Kyle Kendrick (1-0), coming off a 10-4 rookie campaign last season, surrendered four runs while scattering eight hits and two walks over five-plus innings for the win. Pat Burrell slammed his first home run of the season, and reigning National League MVP Jimmy Rollins scored twice and knocked in a run.

Josh Fogg (0-1) struggled in his first start as a Red, allowing six runs on five hits and three walks over four innings on the hill.

Ken Griffey Jr. reached a milestone with his two-RBI performance. The longtime fan favorite passed Reggie Jackson for 16th on the all-time RBI list (1,703), as he finished the game 2-for-4. Corey Patterson scored and knocked in a run.

The game was delayed an hour and 34 minutes due to rain.

Philly won four of six from the Reds last season and is 13-7 in the series since the start of the 2005 campaign.
