(Sports Network) - Young left-hander Manny Parra makes the third start of his big-league career and 10th appearance overall today when the Milwaukee Brewers host the San Francisco Giants in the middle game of a three-game series at Miller Park.

Included were three relief stints against the Giants, in which Parra allowed five hits and two runs in 5 1/3 innings, walking none while striking out six.
San Francisco counters with fourth-year righty Kevin Correia, who appeared in a career-high 59 games last season, including eight starts, while going 4-7 with a 3.45 ERA in 101 2/3 innings.
A fourth-round pick of the Giants in 2002, he reached the majors in 2005 and went 2-5 with a 4.63 ERA in 16 games, including 11 starts.
He returned to appear in 48 games in 2006, winning two.
Correia has faced the Brewers nine times, including two starts, and is 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA in 19 1/3 innings, walking nine and striking out 16.
On Friday, Bill Hall homered twice and drove in a career-high six runs as the Brewers pounded the Giants, 13-4.
Hall finished with three hits, while the top of the order did the rest of the damage. The trio of Rickie Weeks, Gabe Kapler and Prince Fielder were a combined 8-for-13, with five RBI and eight runs scored as the Brewers won for the third time in four games.
Milwaukee finished with 16 hits, making a winner out of young righty Carlos Villanueva (1-0). Making his first career start against the Giants, the 24- year-old allowed two runs and eight hits over 5 1/3 innings. He also walked a pair and struck out six.
Bengie Molina hit a two-run homer, while Jose Castillo and Rich Aurilia each drove in a run for San Francisco, which has dropped three of four to start the season. Jonathan Sanchez (0-1) had a disastrous outing, allowing seven earned runs on seven hits over four frames in the start. He walked two and struck out eight.
San Francisco has won three of four from the Brewers and won last year's season series, 5-4.
