Chicago Cubs (6-5) at Philadelphia Phillies (6-6), 1:35 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies will try to sweep the Chicago Cubs at home for the first time in almost nine years this afternoon, when the two clubs conclude a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park.

After taking the opener of this set on Friday, the Phils cruised to a 7-1 victory Saturday night behind a stellar outing from ace Cole Hamels, who hurled seven shutout innings of one-hit ball. Hamels (2-1) struck out five and walked two, giving up only a fourth-inning double to Derrek Lee.

The Phillies are now in position to sweep the Cubs in a three-game set in the City of Brotherly Love for the first time since July 2-4, 1999. Following this series, Philadelphia continues its nine-game homestand with a visit from Houston before the New York Mets come to town.

Chase Utley went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple, while Pedro Feliz and Ryan Howard each hit two-run homers to power the Philadelphia offense, which will be shorthanded again today.

Reigning National League MVP Jimmy Rollins sat out his fourth straight game due to a left ankle sprain suffered on Tuesday, and with an off day on Monday, is unlikely to play again this afternoon. Meanwhile, outfielder Shane Victorino left last night's win with a strained right calf that landed him on the 15-day disabled list.

Victorino had been filling in for Rollins in the leadoff spot, and also missed time last year with a similar injury. Chris Snelling was recalled from Triple- A Lehigh Valley to take Victorino's roster spot.

Chicago had won five straight before landing in Philadelphia. Ted Lilly (0-2) was tagged for five runs on seven hits and a pair of walks over his 4 1/3 innings, taking the loss. Alfonso Soriano accounted for the lone Chicago run with an eighth-inning RBI single.

Soriano, though, is batting just .176 on the season. However, he does have nine hits and four homers in 44 career at-bats against today's starter for Philadelphia, Jamie Moyer.

Moyer will try to build off a solid outing his last time out today. The 45- year-old lefty gave up just two runs on four hits in six innings of a win over the Mets, his first victory of the season. That was far better than his season debut, when Moyer was tagged for six runs (3 earned) in 3 2/3 frames of a no decision against Washington on April 3.

Despite being in his 22nd season, Moyer has started just four times in his career against the Cubs, a team he pitched for from 1986-88 in his first three big league seasons. The long-time American League lefty is 2-0 with a 3.75 earned run average against the Cubs.

Jason Marquis was originally slated to start Friday's series opener for Chicago, but will go today after having his outing pushed back due to illness. Marquis got a no decision in his season debut on April 5, allowing five runs (4 earned) on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings versus Houston.

The 29-year-old right-hander will pitch on seven days rest and won his lone start versus the Phillies last year behind six innings of three-run ball at Wrigley Field. Marquis is 4-3 with a save and 4.64 ERA in 17 career tests (10 starts) against Philadelphia.

Philadelphia's Pat Burrell, who is batting .378 with four homers this year, has 10 hits and a homer in 28 at-bats versus Marquis. Utley is hitting .462 (6-for-13) against him.

Philadelphia won four of seven last year versus Chicago and is 15-7 versus the club since the start of the 2005 season. That includes an 8-3 mark at home.
