Baltimore Orioles (11-9) at Seattle Mariners (11-10), 10:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners will shoot for their third straight win when they continue a three-game series this evening versus the Baltimore Orioles at Safeco Field.

Seattle has won two in a row and five of its last seven games, including Tuesday's 4-2 victory in the opener of the series. Jose Vidro ended with two RBI, while Raul Ibanez scored a run and knocked in the other run for Seattle. Ichiro Suzuki tripled and scored a run in a winning effort.

Mariners starter Felix Hernandez gave up two runs on six hits in seven innings of work. Arthur Rhodes got the win in relief by yielding just one hit in the eighth. J.J. Putz, who was activated from the 15-day disabled list prior to the game, earned his second save by giving up just one hit in the ninth.

The Mariners will also host Oakland for three games on the current homestand.

Aiming to keep his perfect pitching record intact, Mariners starter Carlos Silva will take the hill on Wednesday against Baltimore.

Silva is 3-0 with a 2.79 ERA in four starts, and has won back-to-back outings, including an April 17 performance against Oakland. He hurled seven strong innings of one-run, four-hit ball in an 8-1 triumph at McAfee Coliseum.

The righty already faced Baltimore once this season, and did not factor into the outcome. Silva was reached for four runs and nine hits over seven innings of work in a 5-4 setback at Camden Yards.

Silva is 1-4 with a 4.67 earned run average in 13 career games (seven starts) against the Orioles.

Baltimore has dropped two in a row after a three-game winning streak, and will resume its road trip tonight in the Emerald City. In Tuesday's setback at Safeco Field, Aubrey Huff ended 2-for-4 with a solo home run and Kevin Millar chipped in the other RBI.

Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie absorbed the loss after he was tagged for four runs -- three earned -- in 7 2/3 innings of work.

Baltimore will also visit the Chicago White Sox for four games on the trek. It will hand the pitching duties over to Daniel Cabrera on Wednesday, and he is 1-0 with a 5.16 ERA in four starts this season.

Cabrera recorded his first victory of the season on April 18 against the New York Yankees, as he yielded two runs and six hits over six innings in an 8-2 triumph at Camden Yards.

The right-handed Cabrera faced Seattle on April 7 this season and did not record a decision. He was roughed up for four runs and five hits in six innings of a 5-4 loss.

For his career, Cabrera owns a strong 5-1 record with a 4.60 earned run average in nine career appearances against the Mariners.

Baltimore swept the Mariners in a four-game series from April 4-7 at Camden Yards. Seattle went 7-2 in the 2007 season series.
