Philadelphia Phillies (11-11) at Milwaukee Brewers (13-8), 1:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Perhaps it just took a visit by the home-run happy Philadelphia Phillies to get Prince Fielder going. The slugging first baseman will hope to swing a hot bat again this afternoon, when his Milwaukee Brewers conclude a two-game series with Philadelphia at Miller Park.

Fielder entered yesterday's test with just one home run through 20 games, one season removed from belting a league-best 50. However, he connected on a pair of two-run homers -- including the go-ahead blast in the eighth inning -- in a 5-4 Milwaukee victory last night.

Fielder's two-homer game was the ninth of his career for the Brewers, winners of five of their last seven. Gabe Kapler knocked in the other Brewers run, while Rickie Weeks and Ryan Braun each doubled and scored.

Mitch Stetter (1-0) earned the win after two innings of scoreless relief, while Derrick Turnbow earned his first save of the year. Milwaukee starter Dave Bush surrendered four runs on eight hits over six-plus innings.

Chase Utley was 2-for-3 with his seventh homer in as many games for the Phillies, who had a season-high three-game win streak end. Utley extended his hitting streak to eight games and has multiple hits in each of his last five contests to up his average to .368. He also leads the majors with 10 home runs.

Greg Dobbs added a two-run homer for Philadelphia and Pat Burrell added a solo blast, his eighth of the year. The three-homer game by the Phils upped their major-league leading total to 37.

Burrell has 23 runs batted in for the month of April, setting a new club record for the month. Von Hayes held the previous mark, as he drove in 22 runs in April of 1989.

Cole Hamels (2-3) sandwiched six brilliant innings between two disastrous ones, allowing three runs in the first and two in the eighth as he surrendered five total runs on eight hits in seven-plus frames. He did strike out a season-high 11 batters.

Jamie Moyer starts for the Phillies today and will try to rebound from a tough-luck loss on Saturday against the New York Mets. Moyer gave up only two runs on seven hits over six innings of a 4-2 setback that dropped the left- hander to 1-1 with a 4.79 earned run average this season.

The 45-year-old has made just one road start this year, as he got a win in New York against the Mets. For his career, Moyer is 8-5 with a 3.69 ERA in 20 games (15 starts) versus the Brewers. However, he was batted for five runs over 6 1/3 innings of a no decision against them last year.

The Brewers will try to win today for a fifth straight time when Jeff Suppan starts. Milwaukee is 4-0 when Suppan gets the starting nod this year, though the right-hander himself is just 1-0 with a 4.13 ERA. Suppan has given up more than two earned runs in just one of those starts and pitched good enough to win last time out.

The 33-year-old held the Reds to a pair of runs on three hits over 6 2/3 innings of a 5-3 Brewers' victory on Saturday, walking just one and striking out three in a no decision. Suppan has made only one start at home this year, getting a no decision on April 8 versus the Reds after seven frames of one-run ball.

Suppan is 3-5 with a 6.18 ERA in 10 career starts versus the Phillies and went 0-1 in two starts against them last year.

He has also struggled against the Phillies' big bats. Utley, Burrell and Ryan Howard are a combined 17-for-41 (.415) with five homers and 13 RBI against Suppan, with Utley having gone 6-for-14 (.429) with a home run.

The Phillies won four of seven against the Brewers last year, but Milwaukee is 9-5 against them since the start of the 2006 season.
