Adam Dunn and Chris Dickerson both homered for the Reds, while Drew Anderson drove in a pair of runs. Aaron Harang allowed two runs on two hits in his two inning start, and Matt Maloney was rocked for four runs on two hits and three walks in his one inning appearance.

Steve Pearce smacked a solo homer for the Pirates, while Freddy Sanchez and Jose Bautista each collected two hits and knocked in a run. Zach Duke was roughed up in his first preseason start, allowing five runs -- four earned -- on six hits in two innings.
