Carlos Pena and Eric Hinske each had a pair of hits and drove in a run, while Andy Cannizaro ripped a two-run homer and Willy Aybar was 2-for-3 and drove in a pair.

Matt Garza allowed two earned runs on four hits in 1 2/3 innings, while J.P. Howell earned the win for the Rays after striking out three and allowing just two hits in 1 2/3 innings of relief.
