Jeff Keppinger went 2-for-2, while Paul Bako scored a pair of runs for Cincinnati. Matt Belisle surrendered three runs in his two inning start, but picked up the win after the Reds scored five runs in the bottom of the second inning.

Franklin Gutierrez hit a solo home run for Cleveland, and Andy Marte went 1- for-2 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Cliff Lee started and pitched a scoreless first inning, but Aaron Laffey was touched for five runs in 2/3 of an inning and absorbed the loss.
