Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Dallas McPherson hit a game-winning solo home run in the sixth inning as the Florida Marlins edged the Washington Nationals, 3-2, in Grapefruit League play.
Jeremy Hermida and Cameron Maybin each drove in a run while Andrew Miller gave up on run on four hits in four innings of work for the Marlins, who had dropped their previous two games.
Cristian Guzman drove in both runs for the Nationals, who had won four of their previous five games. Garrett Mock gave up two runs and three hits in three innings of work.
