Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Sports Network) - Garrett Olson pitched three shutout innings in the start as Baltimore downed Minnesota, 3-1, in Grapefruit League play.
Olson gave up just two walks while striking out one, and four other pitchers combined to give up one run and eight hits for the Orioles. Melvin Mora drove in a run.
Nick Blackburn got the start and was tagged for three runs on two hits and two walks in three innings of work for the Twins, who have dropped their last three games. Jason Kubel drove in the lone run for Minnesota.
