Clearwater, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Gomez went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and three runs scored, as the Minnesota Twins pounded the Philadelphia Phillies, 11-2, in Grapefruit League action.

Denard Span, Delmon Young, Jason Kubel and Nick Punto had two hits apiece for the Twins, who banged out 18 as a team. Kevin Slowey earned the win, allowing just a solo home run and one other hit over four innings.

Pat Burrell was 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Philadelphia offense, and starter Adam Eaton didn't allow a run in three innings despite giving up five hits.

The Phillies bullpen, however, was tagged for 11 runs on 13 hits - three homers - over the next six frames. J.D. Durbin took the loss after surrendering five earned runs on five hits and a pair of walks.
