Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Pena clubbed a two-run homer to cap a five-run fifth inning, and Tampa Bay went on to edge Atlanta, 11-10, in Grapefruit League action.

Reid Brignac added a two-run double and Elliot Johnson went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored for the Rays. Starter Jason Hammel limited the Braves to three hits in five scoreless innings, walking a pair while striking out three.

John Smoltz made his Grapefruit League debut for Atlanta, allowing five runs -- three earned -- on four hits over 4 2/3 innings. Smoltz walked two batters and struck out four, and was cruising until the fifth.

Martin Prado had an RBI double and Gregor Blanco added a two-run single for the Braves. Atlanta scored seven runs in the eighth inning, highlighted by a grand slam from Corky Miller.
