MLB Game Summary - Washington at NY Mets

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - David Wright's two-run homer in the fifth inning keyed the New York Mets' 8-2 drubbing of the Washington Nationals in Grapefruit League play.
Wright added two hits to go along with homer, while Jose Reyes and Marlon Anderson each contributed two runs batted in. Pedro Martinez gave up two runs on five hits in five innings of work, and Ricardo Rincon picked up the win in a scoreless inning of relief.
Washington's Chris Schroder was roughed up in an 1 2/3 innings, surrendering five runs -- three earned -- on five hits. Austin Kearns hit a fourth-inning home run and Felipe Lopez added the Nationals' only other RBI.
