Raul Casanova collected two hits, including a home run, scored twice and knocked in a pair for the Mets. Endy Chavez also picked up two RBI and Ryan Church added three hits and a run batted in.

Starter Oliver Perez got the win, allowing seven hits and three runs with four strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings.

Mark Teixeira drove in two runs for the Braves. Edgar Prado and Brent Lillibridge knocked in a run each in the loss.

Peter Moylan picked up the loss in his start after giving up three hits and three runs over one inning.
