Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Delmon Young went 2-for-2 with a solo homer, as the Minnesota Twins topped the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-4, in the teams' spring training finale.

Mike Redmond also had two hits, including a double, and Michael Cuddyer drove in one run for the Twins. Kevin Slowey went three innings in the start, and gave up two runs on six hits, while striking out three. Six relievers each pitched a scoreless inning, including Juan Rincon and Joe Nathan.

Jason Bay, Thomas Hagan, Anthony Webster, and Luis Rivas each had two hits, while Rivas tripled and Webster had a pair of doubles. Matt Morris threw six innings in his start, and gave up just two runs on six hits, striking out and walking three apiece.

Minnesota opens its regular season on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels, the first of a seven-game homestand. The Pirates open the season with a six- game road trip, starting with a Monday game in Atlanta.
