Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Torii Hunter hit two home runs, scored four times and drove in five runs as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim dominated the Baltimore Orioles for an 11-6 victory in the middle of a three-game series at Camden Yards.
Jon Garland (9-6) worked 5 1/3 innings allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three as the Angels won their fourth consecutive game.
Casey Kotchman was 2-for-5 with a two-run homer while Juan Rivera hit a three- run homer.
Radhames Liz (4-3) had another shaky outing, giving up six runs on seven hits and four walks while only striking out one batter in 5 2/3 innings for Baltimore, which has lost five in a row.
Aubrey Huff hit a three-run home run while Luke Scott added a two-run shot for the O's. Ramon Hernandez was 2-for-3 with a run scored in reaching the 1,000 hit plateau.
Kotchman's two-run homer, his 11th, put the Angels on top for good in the third. Chone Figgins also scored on Kotchman's homer after leading off with a single. Hunter stretched the lead to 5-3 with a two-out solo shot.
Los Angeles stretched the lead to three on a Howie Kendrick RBI single in the sixth that plated Hunter, who drew a one-out walk.
Scott reeled the Angels back in, however, with a two-run homer, his 18th, in the sixth. Melvin Mora also scored on the play after reaching on a fielder's choice as Garland was chased from the game.
Rivera's fifth homer of the season in the eighth, a three-run shot, kept the O's at arms length. The left fielder also brought Hunter and Garret Anderson around on the hit off of Fernando Cabrera, who relieved Lance Cormier two batters before.
Hunter's 15th homer and second of the game scored Vladimir Guerrero in the ninth.
Hernandez scored on a Brian Roberts sacrifice fly in the bottom of the inning.
The Angels scored multiple runs in the first for the second consecutive game on a Hunter two-out, two-RBI single to score Maicer Izturis and Guerrero, who both reached on walks.
Huff's blast, his 20th, in the bottom of the inning, however, gave Baltimore the 3-2 lead. Adam Jones and Nick Markakis both reached on one-out singles before Huff brought them home.
