National League Game Summary - Milwaukee at Atlanta

Final Score: Milwaukee 4 - Atlanta 2

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Prince Fielder homered twice as the Milwaukee Brewers earned a 4-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves in the second contest of a three-game set.

CC Sabathia (5-0) remained unbeaten with Milwaukee as he allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out nine in 8 1/3 innings. Salomon Torres yielded a hit and struck out a batter in getting the final two outs for his 21st save.

"That's why I came over here, to try to help us win. And I've been able to do that." Sabathia said. "(Manager Ned Yost) told me that if I got a runner on (in the ninth) he was going to take me out so I wasn't surprsied (that he did.)"

Fielder had a two-run homer and a solo blast while Jason Kendall hit an RBI double for the Brewers, who have countered a five-game losing streak with two consecutive victories to clinch the series.

Rookie Charlie Morton (2-5) gave up two runs on just four hits and a walk through seven innings with four strikeouts for Atlanta, which has lost two in a row and seven of its last eight.

Kelly Johnson was 2-for-4 with an RBI while Omar Infante and Gregor Blanco each had a run scored.

"(Sabathia) can pitch. he throws a lot of pitches that look like they're hittable," Johnson said. "I wouldn't say that he's got some serious control, I think that he just knows how to pitch, throw the right pitches...getting you to chase his pitch."

Fielder led off the seventh with his first homer of the game to tie the game and a Kendall two-out RBI double to score Corey Hart put Milwaukee on top 2-1. Hart reached on a bunt single after Fielder's blast.

With two outs and Rickie Weeks on first in the eighth, Fielder hit his 25th homer and second of the night to give Milwaukee a three-run cushion.

Johnson's infield single with two outs in the ninth scored Infante, who led off with a double, to make it 4-2. Torres, however, then got Clint Sammons to fly out.

Casey Kotchman's first RBI as an Atlanta Brave came on a two-out base hit in the first to score Blanco, who led off with a walk.

The Braves threatened again in the second when Johnson led off with a single before moving to second on a groundout and third on a sacrifice bunt. Blanco, however, grounded out to end the threat.

Both teams combined to retire 24 consecutive batters between Johnson's hit in the second and a Martin Prado leadoff single in the sixth. Sabathia retired the next three batters after Prado, though, to set Milwaukee up for a go-ahead seventh.
