National League Game Summary - San Francisco at Atlanta

Final Score: San Francisco 3 - Atlanta 1

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Travis Ishikawa's first career major league home run backed yet another brilliant performance from Tim Lincecum, who stymied the Braves in San Francisco's 3-1 victory over Atlanta in the third installment of a four-game set.

Lincecum (13-3), who exited his last start after being hit on his right knee with a line drive, showed no ill-effects of the injury in his 7 2/3 innings of work. The flame-thrower fanned 10 while allowing just one run on three hits and four walks.

Emmanuel Burriss was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Giants, who have won two of three on the heels of a four-game losing streak.

Rookie Charlie Morton (3-7) pitched well but was credited with the loss for yielding three runs on seven hits with two walks and fanning half a dozen in his six-inning start for the Braves, who have lost six of seven. Mark Kotsay knocked in the lone run in defeat.

"I feel like some of the things coming from this game I can build on, and I came away feeling good about it," Morton said. "I feel like I pitched well today and it's a good step forward for me. "

In the second, Ishikawa followed up Aaron Rowand's lead-off double with the first home run of his career over the right field wall.

Lincecum retired eight straight after Kelly Johnson's single up the middle in the second inning, and San Fran spotted the righty another run in the fifth on Burriss' RBI single.

The Braves added just two more hit off Lincecum, but rallied in eighth. Yunel Escobar earned a two-out walk and Chipper Jones singled to center. At a pitch count of 119, Lincecum was pulled for Jack Taschner, who gave up a run-scoring single to Kotsay before Brian Wilson came on to get out of the jam with a two- run lead.

"I don't go out there thinking I'm going to shut out every team," Lincecum said. "I just try to give my team a chance to win. When I came out, that's what I was happy with."

Wilson stayed in the game in the ninth and worked around a two-out walk to solidify his 33rd save of the season.
