Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Alex Rios finished 5-for-6 with four doubles, two RBI and three runs scored as Toronto crushed Boston, 15-4, in the final contest of a shortened two-game series at Fenway Park.

Adam Lind homered among his three hits. He also drove in four and scored twice for the Blue Jays, who pounded out 22 hits to record their fifth win in six games.

John McDonald added three hits and three RBI while Lyle Overbay went 3-for-5, scored three times and knocked in a pair.

"For our club, the way we came out swinging the bats against Beckett today is a big lift for us," said McDonald. "I think we thought today was going to be one of those games where one or two runs was going to be tough to come by. To have our guys set the tone early was a big lift. I'm sure Shaun appreciated the run support today."

Shaun Marcum (8-5) had a solid start for Toronto, holding Boston to five hits and one run over five innings to earn the win.

Kevin Youkilis and Dustin Pedroia both homered for the Red Sox, who dropped both games in the rain-shortened set by a combined 19-5 count. Jed Lowrie also knocked in a run in the loss, going 3-for-3.

Josh Beckett (11-9) took the loss after yielding eight hits and eight runs over 2 1/3 innings, his shortest start of the season.

"Just a bad day all the way around. The pitches they hit were bad pitches, they caught way too much of the plate and they were up," Beckett admitted. "You can get away with catching a little too much of the plate if you're down some days, but today it was middle of the plate and up and they were just really, really bad pitches. Good pitches to hit."

Beckett ran into trouble immediately, loading the bases in the first on a single, double and walk. Lind singled to plate a run, but Jason Bay's fielding error allowed a second run to come in. Overbay's single brought in two more and McDonald knocked in a pair with a double to left-center.

Lind dropped a leadoff homer into the seats in right in the third. Overbay's one-out double two batters later spelled the end for Beckett in favor of David Aardsma, who allowed an RBI triple by Brad Wilkerson for an 8-0 game.

Toronto tacked on one more in the fourth, as Rios doubled then scored on Lind's double off the Green Monster. Youkilis finally responded in the home half with a solo homer to straightaway center.

Rios' fifth-inning RBI double pushed the Jays into double digits, and McDonald's double off the Monster scored Rod Barajas one inning later with Toronto's 11th run of the game.

Lowrie's two-out RBI triple in the home sixth cut the Sox deficit under 10 runs, then Rios doubled and scored on a Lind groundout in the Toronto's portion of the seventh. Pedroia then celebrated his 25th birthday with a two- out solo homer in Boston's seventh-inning turn for a 12-3 game.

Hideki Okajima allowed three Blue Jay runs in the eighth inning on a Joe Inglett run-scoring base hit, a Rios single to left and Vernon Wells' ground- rule double.

The Sox picked up a run in their final chance at the plate against B.J. Ryan. Lowrie doubled, then scored as Marco Scutaro's wild throw on Alex Cora's infield single kicked into foul ground.
