Magic wrap up homestand versus Clippers

(Sports Network) - The Southeast Division-leading Orlando Magic will close out a three-game homestand tonight, when they host the Los Angeles Clippers at Amway Arena.

Orlando is 1-1 on the homestand and improved to 19-12 as the host with Monday's 123-112 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Hedo Turkoglu posted the second triple-double of his career with 23 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for the Magic, who have won four of their last five games overall.

Dwight Howard had 19 of his 26 points in the first half and also pulled down 16 rebounds. Rashard Lewis finished with 22 points, six boards and four assists for Orlando, while Keith Bogans scored 19 points off the bench. The Magic are currently seeded third in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Clippers will resume a five-game road trip on Wednesday and are 9-19 as the guest in 2007-08. In Monday's 99-98 win over the hapless Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena, Cuttino Mobley scored 29 points, including the go-ahead free throws in the waning seconds.

Al Thornton scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who won for just the second time in their last 10 games. Corey Maggette also scored 22 points in a winning effort. The Clippers will also visit Atlanta, Washington and Minnesota on the current swing.

On the injury front for Los Angeles, center Chris Kaman (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Orlando.

LA and Orlando are meeting for the second and final time this season. The Magic recorded a 113-106 victory on January 9 at the Staples Center, as Turkoglu scored 28 points to lead the way.

The Clippers have won six of nine and seven of the last 11 meetings.

Orlando has lost four of five and six of its last eight at the Clippers.
