(Sports Network) - The woeful Miami Heat attempt to halt an eight-game losing streak, as they visit the slumping Milwaukee Bucks tonight at the Bradley Center.
This is the third meeting of the campaign between the clubs. The Bucks are 2-0 against Miami this season.
Miami has dropped two of its last three at Milwaukee. The Heat are scheduled to host the Bucks on March 24 at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miami opens a short two-game road trip tonight. On Sunday, reigning MVP Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points in 25 minutes to lead the Dallas Mavericks in a 98-73 rout of the Heat.
Earl Barron scored a career-high 21 points off the bench for Miami, which dropped its eighth straight contest. Daequan Cook ended with 11 points and eight rebounds in defeat.
Marcus Banks (hamstring), Udonis Haslem (ankle) and Shawn Marion (back) did not play against Dallas. Haslem is doubtful for tonight's contest, while Marion is questionable.
The Heat, who will visit the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at Air Canada Centre, are a brutal 5-26 on the road this season.
Milwaukee has dropped five straight and will play the third of a four-game homestand this evening. On Saturday, Kevin Garnett scored 19 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 99-77 trouncing of the Bucks at Bradley Center.
Charlie Bell had a team-high 16 points off the bench for the Bucks, who has lost eight of their last nine games overall. Michael Redd netted 15 in defeat and Charlie Villanueva ended with 10 points.
In injury news for Milwaukee, forward Andrew Bogut (thigh) did not play against Boston. Bogut, who is averaging 13.6 points and a team-best 9.4 rebounds, will miss tonight's contest. Bucks forwards Yi Jianlian (wrist) and Charlie Villanueva (ankle) are both probable against Miami.
The Bucks will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. They are 17-16 at home this season.
