New Jersey is 11-21 away from the Meadowlands this season, and last won as the guest on February 8 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The Nets just went unbeaten on a short two-game homestand, having recorded a 117-115 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday at the Izod Center. Richard Jefferson scored 27 points and buried the go-ahead basket with 1.5 seconds remaining.
Jefferson made 11-of-15 field goal attempts and scored six of New Jersey's final eight points, while Vince Carter added 25 points and eight rebounds in a winning cause. New Jersey is just a half game behind Atlanta for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Chicago, meanwhile, will open a four-game homestand tonight versus New Jersey, San Antonio, Indiana and Atlanta. It is 15-16 at the United Center this season.
The Bulls have lost two straight overall and four of their last five contests, including Monday's 108-97 setback to the New Orleans Hornets on the road. Ben Gordon came off the bench to score a team-best 31 points. Drew Gooden notched a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Luol Deng and Larry Hughes each added 16 points in defeat.
