Bobcats wrap up swing against Portland

(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats will close out a four-game road trip tonight, when they battle the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.

Charlotte has won three of its last four games, and improved to 2-1 on the current swing following Friday's 96-93 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics at KeyArena. Jason Richardson finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Bobcats, who are 8-28 as the guest this season.

Raymond Felton had 23 points and six assists, while Emeka Okafor scored 19 points and pulled down nine boards for Charlotte. Bobcats guard Derek Anderson did not play in Friday's game due to personal reasons, and is questionable for Saturday's tilt in Portland.

The Trail Blazers have lost two of their last three games, including Thursday's 111-95 decision to the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena.

Steve Blake scored 22 points and Jarrett Jack chipped in 19 for Portland, which played without guard Brandon Roy. Roy sat out with a strained groin and is expected to miss a significant amount of time.

LaMarcus Aldridge returned to the floor after suffering an ankle injury, and finished with 17 points and six assists against Golden State. Portland is seven games off the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

Charlotte leads the season series with Portland after recording a 101-92 triumph at home on November 19.

The Blazers have won five of the seven all-time matchups in this series, while the Bobcats have lost two of three on the road against Portland.
