Gasol had 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers, who have won two straight and sit a game ahead of Phoenix atop the Pacific Division. LA is also 1 1/2 games behind New Orleans for first place in the Western Conference.
So far this season, Gasol is averaging 18.4 points and 7.8 rebounds this season. He hadn't played since March 14 at New Orleans. He was injured in that game, stepping on the foot of teammate Vladimir Radmanovic while both were looking for an offensive rebound.
