(Sports Network) - The playoff-bound Philadelphia 76ers are losing ground in the Eastern Conference standings, and will host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight from the Wachovia Center.
Philadelphia is tied with Toronto for the sixth seed, but the Raptors own the tiebreaker with two games left on the schedule. If the Sixers win out and Toronto loses once, they will face third-seeded Orlando in the first round. The No. 7 seed gets a chance to face the Detroit Pistons.
The Sixers have dropped two straight and five of their last eight games. In Saturday's 109-93 loss to the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center, Andre Iguodala posted 22 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while Andre Miller chipped in 16 points and 10 assists.
After the Sixers host the Cavaliers at the Wachovia Center, they will conclude the regular-season schedule on April 16 at Charlotte. Philadelphia is 22-18 at home this season and 18-22 away from the City of Brotherly Love.
Cleveland is the fourth seed in the conference standings, and will most likely face No. 5 Washington in the first round of the playoffs. The defending Eastern Conference-champion Cavs need a win tonight to clinch the fourth spot and lock up home-court advantage in the opening round.
The Cavaliers have won two of their last three games, including Sunday's 84-76 victory over the Miami Heat at Quicken Loans Arena. Delonte West scored a game-high 18 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas recorded 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in a winning cause.
LeBron James finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Cleveland will close out the regular season on April 16 versus Detroit.
The 2007-08 season series between the Cavs and Sixers is tied at a game apiece, while Cleveland has won five of the last seven meetings.
The Cavaliers have won two straight and three of the last four contests at the Wachovia Center.
