Blazers welcome Grizzlies to Rose Garden

(Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers play their final home game of the season, as they host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the Rose Garden.

Portland is 27-13 at home this season and will wrap up the campaign on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center. On Saturday, Brandon Roy scored 23 points to lead the Trail Blazers past the Dallas Mavericks, 108-105, at the Rose Garden.

LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 22 points for the Trail Blazers, who have won two of their last three contests overall and two in a row at home. Jarrett Jack contributed 19 points and 10 assists, while Channing Frye collected 15 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

Memphis plays the opener of a season-ending two-game road trip. The Grizzlies, who are a dismal 8-31 on the road this season, will visit Allen Iverson and the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center.

On Saturday, Rashad McCants scored 23 points off the bench as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Memphis, 114-105, at FedExForum. Rookie Mike Conley ended with 25 points for the Grizzlies, who have lost two of their last three games overall.

Rudy Gay ended with 22 points in the loss to Minnesota, while Hakim Warrick netted 16 points and Andre Brown notched a double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds in defeat.

The Trail Blazers are 2-0 against Memphis this season, and have won four of the last six contests in the series.

These two teams have split the last 10 meetings at Portland.
