Nash leaves preseason game vs. Hawks

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash left Wednesday's exhibition contest against the Atlanta Hawks with a sprained right ankle.

Nash left late in the first half with the injury, after scoring 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting with six assists in a little more than 13 minutes of action. He did not return in a 102-100 Suns win.

The two-time MVP and six-time All-Star averaged 16.9 points and 11.1 assists per game for the Suns last season, the 12th in the league for the 34-year-old.
