Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Andre Miller posted a terrific all-around effort with 28 points, nine rebounds and six assists, as his three-pointer late in the fourth quarter spurred the Sixers to a 110-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Andre Iguodala doled out seven assists to go with 20 points for Philly, which has won back-to-back games following a putrid 1-5 road trip. Lou Williams and Thaddeus Young had 12 and 10 points, respectively, in the victory.
Former Buck Royal Ivey had his best game as a Sixer, logging nine points off the bench against his former mates.
The triumvirate of Richard Jefferson (27 points), Charlie Villanueva (26) and Michael Redd (20) paced the Bucks, who had won six of their last nine coming into the game. Redd also had seven assists in defeat.
The Bucks played front-runner for most of the second half and held an 85-79 edge after three periods of action.
Ivey's second three-pointer of the fourth got the Sixers within 92-90 with just over 7 1/2 minutes to play, and Young's steal and subsequent fastbreak lay-in capped a 12-4 Sixers run for a 99-96 lead with 3:48 left.
After Milwaukee's Luke Ridnour missed a three in the corner, Miller hit 1-of-2 from the free throw line for a four-point lead with 1:50 remaining.
The teams then trading baskets, and Ridnour got the Bucks within one on a three in the left corner. But Miller came through for the Sixers with just 28 ticks remaining, draining a deep straightaway three for a 107-103 lead.
Jefferson then cleaned up a Redd miss with a layup, and Iguodala hit just 1- of-2 free throws to keep it a one-possession game with roughly 17 seconds to go.
Milwaukee's last chance fell by the wayside, as Ivey disrupted Charlie Bell's tying three-point attempt on the left wing, as Iguodala sealed it with a rebound and two free throws.
Philly drained 9-for-9 from the charity stripe in the first quarter and led 30-25 after one period.
The Eastern Conference foes traded runs in the second stanza before Villanueva put Milwaukee up 59-55 on back-to-back trifectas to end the half.
