(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers play the third of a seven-game road trip tonight, as they visit the slumping New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

This is the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On November 14, Chris Kaman led five Clippers in double figures with 14 points and also pulled down 18 rebounds as Los Angeles escaped with an 84-81 victory over the Knicks at the Staples Center.

The Clippers have dropped four of five and nine of their last 11 contests at New York.

Los Angeles is 0-2 on the swing. LeBron James returned from a one-game absence due to a sprained left ankle and finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers downed the Clippers, 98-84, Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena.

Rookie Al Thornton came off the bench to score 23 points and grab seven rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost two in a row and five of their last six games overall. Cuttino Mobley scored 19 points and Tim Thomas netted 15 in defeat.

The Clippers are 5-15 on the road this season. They will also visit Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia and Milwaukee on the swing.

On the injury front for the Clippers, center Chris Kaman (flu/bruised left shin) and forward Corey Maggette (flu) are questionable.

New York, which opens a three-game homestand, enters tonight's contest on a five-game losing streak. Rookie phenom Kevin Durant scored 21 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer in the last minute, as the Seattle SuperSonics edged the Knicks, 86-85, at KeyArena.

Nate Robinson's missed three-pointer in the final seconds capped an 0-for-9 night from the field for the New York guard.

Zach Randolph scored 24 points for the Knicks, who capped an 0-5 road trip with a heartbreaking loss. Jamal Crawford scored 23 points and David Lee had 10 points and 10 rebounds for New York.

The Knicks are 10-14 at home this season. They will also host Indiana and San Antonio on the stand.
