San Antonio Spurs (31-16) at New York Knicks (14-35), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs will resume a nine-game road trip tonight, when they pay a visit to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

San Antonio has won three straight and improved to 3-2 on the current trek after Wednesday's 85-77 victory over the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center. Tim Duncan scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace San Antonio, which improved to 11-11 away from the AT&T Center this season.

Fabricio Oberto tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Manu Ginobili had nine points and 10 assists in a winning effort. The Spurs will also visit Boston, Toronto and Cleveland on the swing.

New York will try to stop a seven-game slide when it concludes a three-game homestand versus the Spurs. The Knicks dropped the first two contests of the stand, including Wednesday's 103-100 setback to the Indiana Pacers.

Zach Randolph led the Knicks with 26 points and nine rebounds. Jamal Crawford finished with 21 points and seven assists, while Eddy Curry scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds for New York, which is 10-16 in the Big Apple this season.

On the injury front for New York, forward Quentin Richardson is questionable for Friday's game against San Antonio with a sprained right ankle.

Friday's game between the Spurs and Knicks is the second and final meeting of the regular season. San Antonio posted a 97-93 triumph on January 4 at the AT&T Center, as Bruce Bowen hit two key free throws down the stretch and led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points.

San Antonio has won five straight and eight of the last nine meetings. It has won two straight and three of its last four at Madison Square Garden.
