Atlanta Hawks (21-25) at Houston Rockets (29-20), 8:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Houston Rockets aim for their sixth straight win when they resume a four-game homestand tonight versus the Atlanta Hawks at the Toyota Center.

The Rockets opened the homestand with Thursday's 92-77 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yao Ming scored 22 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Houston, which is 13-9 at home this season. Rafer Alston added 17 points and nine assists, while Shane Battier chipped in 15 points and eight boards.

Tracy McGrady had eight points in the win and is listed as probable for Saturday's game with an upper respiratory infection.

Houston, which has won 14 of its last 17 games, will also welcome Portland and Sacramento to town on the current stand. In team news for the Rockets, guard Steve Francis has been sidelined since mid-December with what was originally diagnosed as bi-lateral quadriceps tendinitis, and will undergo season-ending surgery. The procedure will be performed later this month by Dr. Walter Lowe.

Meanwhile, the Hawks are back on the road after going 3-1 on a four-game homestand. They had a three-game winning streak halted after Friday's 100-95 setback to the Cavaliers at Philips Arena, as Joe Johnson poured in a team- high 23 points and dished out eight assists for the Hawks.

Marvin Williams scored 21 points and Josh Smith added 15 points and eight rebounds in defeat. Atlanta, which is 6-15 as the guest in 2007-08, will try to stop a three-game slide on the road tonight.

Friday's contest between Atlanta and Houston is the first of two matchups this season. The Hawks are scheduled to host the Rockets on March 12 at Philips Arena.

Both teams split a pair of meetings last season, while Houston has won 10 of 15 and 11 of the last 19 meetings.

Atlanta has lost eight straight and 14 of its last 15 at Houston.
