(Sports Network) - The Southeast Division-leading Orlando Magic will resume a five-game homestand this evening versus LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Amway Arena.
Orlando is 1-2 so far on the homestand and suffered a 117-113 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. Dwight Howard had 19 points and 11 boards for the Magic, who lost for just the third time in 11 games. Jameer Nelson finished with 17 points and nine assists, while Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu both netted 16 points in defeat.
The Magic will close out the stand versus Denver on Wednesday and are 13-10 as the host in 2007-08.
Cleveland, meanwhile, has dropped two of its last three games, including Sunday's 113-83 setback to the Nuggets at Quicken Loans Arena. James poured in 30 points for the Cavaliers, who are reeling with injuries right now. Starting forward Drew Gooden sat out his third straight game with a strained right groin, while guard Daniel Gibson (strained right hamstring) missed his second in a row.
Also, center Zydrunas Ilgauskas (back spasms) and guard Damon Jones (sprained right ankle) left Sunday's game early. Gooden, Gibson, Ilgauskas and Jones are all game-time decisions.
The Cavaliers will try to work on their 13-14 road record on Monday night.
Orlando posted a 117-116 overtime win against the Cavs on November 14 at Quicken Loans Arena. Howard scored a career-high tying 35 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and buried the game-winning free throw with 5.8 seconds left in OT.
The Magic have won two straight and four of the last five meetings with Cleveland, which has dropped two in a row on the road in this series.
