Charlotte Bobcats (19-34) at San Antonio Spurs (34-17), 8:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats will open the second half of the season tonight with a showdown at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio headed to the All-Star break winners of two straight and six of their last seven games, including a 112-105 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 13 in the finale of a nine-game road trip.

The Spurs went 6-3 on the trek, as Manu Ginobili exploded for 46 points in the win over the Cavs. Ginobili hit eight of his 11 three-point attempts, scored 18 points in the final stanza and finished 15-of-20 from the floor. Tim Duncan had 23 points and 13 rebounds for San Antonio, which will put its 20-5 home record on the line tonight.

San Antonio is two games behind New Orleans for the top spot in the Southwest Division standings.

Charlotte will try to stop a five-game slide as the visitor on Tuesday against the Spurs. The Bobcats put the brakes on a seven-game losing streak with a 100-98 overtime win against the Atlanta Hawks last Wednesday, as Emeka Okafor scored 20 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead the way.

Raymond Felton added 22 points and seven assists for the Bobcats, who halted a five-game losing streak on their home court. Jason Richardson scored 19 points, while Jared Dudley finished with 12 points in the win.

The Bobcats own a 4-18 record away from home this season. In injury news for Charlotte, forward Gerald Wallace (foot) is probable for Tuesday's game against San Antonio, while guard Derek Anderson (knee) is questionable.

San Antonio recorded a 95-86 win over Charlotte on January 21 this season at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. It has won two straight and six of the seven all-time meetings with the Bobcats, who have dropped two of the three meetings as the guest.

Charlotte has scored under 87 points in six of the seven matchups.
