Philadelphia 76ers (24-31) at Orlando Magic (34-22), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic are shooting for some consistency and will open a short two-game homestand tonight versus the Philadelphia 76ers at Amway Arena.

Orlando has lost three of its last five games and had a two-game winning streak come to an end with Wednesday's 127-110 setback to the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre. Toronto's Chris Bosh scorched the Southeast Division-leading Magic with 40 points on 14-for-16 shooting.

Dwight Howard had 37 points on 13-of-16 shooting and pulled down 15 rebounds for the Magic, who will also host Sacramento on the current homestand. Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu added 16 points apiece in the loss.

The Magic will put its 14-11 home record on the line Friday night.

Philadelphia will hit the road for two games at Orlando and Miami and is 9-17 away from home in 2007-08. The Sixers have won six of their last seven games and handed the New York Knicks a 124-84 setback Wednesday at the Wachovia Center.

Willie Green led a balanced Philadelphia attack with 21 points, while rookie Thaddeus Young had 20 points and eight rebounds. Andre Miller handed out 10 assists to go with his 12 points for the Sixers.

Andre Iguodala scored 19 points, Lou Williams had 13 and Rodney Carney added 10 points to round out the double-figure scorers for the Sixers, who announced earlier in the day that they have agreed in principle with head coach Maurice Cheeks on a contract extension that will keep him in Philly through the 2008-09 season. Cheeks was in the final year of a three-year pact.

The 76ers will try to stop a two-game slide on the road this evening.

Friday's game between Philadelphia and Orlando is the second of four matchups this season. The Magic won the first meeting, 108-106, on February 1 at the Wachovia Center. Turkoglu drained a pair of free throws in the waning seconds to lift Orlando, which has won three straight, eight of 11 and 10 of the last 14 encounters in the series.

Philadelphia has lost in two of its last three trips to Orlando.
