(Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets will open a four-game homestand tonight, when they close out a home-and-home series versus the Indiana Pacers at the Izod Center.
The Nets will also host Orlando, Milwaukee and San Antonio, and own a 13-15 record at the Meadowlands this season. They have also won three straight as the host.
New Jersey, though, has dropped two of three and 14 of its last 20 games, including Friday's 113-103 setback to the Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse. Richard Jefferson poured in 34 points for the Nets.
Bostjan Nachbar had 22 points off the bench, while Vince Carter notched 15 points and eight assists in a losing cause.
Indiana, meanwhile, put the brakes on a three-game slide with the recent win, as Mike Dunleavy registered 34 points to lead the way. Travis Diener had 19 points and dished out six assists for the Pacers, who won for just the third time in the past 13 games. Danny Grainger added 16 points, while Jeff Foster grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds in the win.
The Pacers will try to improve on their 11-17 road mark this evening.
New Jersey has won four of five and seven of the last 11 meetings with Indiana, which has dropped two straight and eight of its last 12 trips to the Meadowlands.
