New Orleans Hornets (37-16) at San Antonio Spurs (36-17), 8:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs open a three-game homestand tonight, as they host the division-rival New Orleans Hornets at the AT&T Center.

This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. The teams split the first two contests.

The Southwest Division-leading Hornets snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Spurs on January 26th. David West scored 32 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lift New Orleans over the Spurs, 102-78, at the AT&T Center. New Orleans, which has lost six of seven trips to San Antonio, is one game ahead of the Spurs in the division standings.

San Antonio enters tonight's contest on a four-game winning streak. Manu Ginobili poured in 16 of his 44 points in the final frame and drilled a jumper with six seconds on the clock to lift the Spurs over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 100-99, on Thursday at the Target Center.

Ginobili converted 13-of-18 attempts from the field, including 7-of-9 from beyond the arc, and knocked down 11-of-12 from the foul line, guiding the Spurs to their fourth straight victory and eighth in the last nine outings.

Tim Duncan poured in 24 points, grabbed 14 rebounds dished out seven assists and blocked four shots, while Michael Finley came off the bench to score 13 in the winning effort. Tony Parker, who missed San Antonio's last nine contests with chronic left ankle inflammation, returned to action as a reserve and ended with eight points in just over 18 minutes of action.

The Spurs are 21-5 at home this season. They will host Atlanta on Monday and Dallas on Thursday in the finale of the current homestand.

New Orleans will try to get back on the winning track tonight after having its five-game winning streak come to an end with Friday's 100-80 setback to the red-hot Houston Rockets at New Orleans Arena.

West led New Orleans with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Chris Paul handed out 11 assists and netted 14 points in a losing cause.

The Hornets will put their three-game winning streak as the visitor on the line tonight. They are 19-7 on the road this season.
