Chauncey Billups finished with 14 points and 11 assists, while Antonio McDyess chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.
Detroit, which has won four of its last five as the visitor, is 19-10 on the road this season. The Pistons will visit Carlos Boozer and the Utah Jazz on Wednesday and the Los Angeles Clippers on March 1st in the finale of the current trek.
Denver attempts to put the brakes on a two-game losing streak this evening. On Saturday, Michael Redd scored a season-high 42 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 115-109 win over the Nuggets at the Bradley Center.
Allen Iverson finished with 26 points in the loss for the Nuggets, who have dropped three of their last four games overall. Carmelo Anthony contributed 25 points and seven rebounds, while J.R. Smith added 20 points in defeat.
The Nuggets, who have won two in a row as the host, are 22-6 at home this season. They will visit rookie phenom Kevin Durant and the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday at KeyArena.
