(Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns have hit a snag and will try to right the ship tonight in the opener of a two-game road trip against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

Phoenix has dropped two of three and three of its last five games, including Sunday's disastrous 116-86 setback to the Detroit Pistons in the finale of a four-game homestand at US Airways Center. Amare Stoudemire had 31 points for the Suns, who had won 11 straight games versus Eastern Conference foes.

Leandro Barbosa chipped in 18 points and Steve Nash contributed 11 points and six assists, as Phoenix went 2-2 on the stand. Recently-acquired center Shaquille O'Neal was held to just seven points in a losing cause.

The Suns will also visit the New Orleans Hornets on the short trek and are 17-10 away from home this season.

Memphis is back at home, where it owns a 10-19 mark in 2007-08. It has dropped five of its last six games as the host.

In Sunday's 109-89 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena, Hakim Warrick totaled 21 points and nine rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost 12 straight on the road. Rudy Gay ended with 19 points, while Juan Carlos Navarro had 14 points in defeat.

The Grizzlies have lost five in a row overall and 11 of their last 12 games.

Phoenix and Memphis are playing the first of three matchups this season on Tuesday. The Suns won all four meetings last season and are unbeaten in the previous five encounters with the Grizzlies.

Phoenix has won two in a row and three of its last four at Memphis.
