Sacramento Kings (26-29) at Miami Heat (9-44), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The hapless Miami Heat are mired in another lengthy losing streak and will close out a brief two-game homestand tonight versus the Sacramento Kings at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Miami has lost 11 in a row and opened the homestand with Saturday's 101-96 overtime setback to the Philadelphia 76ers. Dwyane Wade had 33 points for the Heat, who have lost 26 of their last 27 games and fell to 5-22 as the host this season. Miami's last win overall was at home against the Indiana Pacers on January 26, and the club has dropped six in a row as the host since then.

Marcus Banks had 17 points and Mark Blount netted 14 points in the recent loss for the Heat, who were outscored 10-0 by Philly to close overtime. The Heat lost 15 straight this season from December 25 - January 24, and are a league- worst 9-44 this season -- just two years removed from its only NBA title.

Meanwhile, the Kings will resume a five-game road trip on Tuesday and are 9-19 away from ARCO Arena this season. They are 1-1 so far on the trek and had a three-game winning streak come to an end after Sunday's 112-93 setback to the Orlando Magic at Amway Arena.

Ron Artest scored 23 points and Kevin Martin had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, who will also visit Atlanta and Dallas on the current swing. Brad Miller registered 17 points in the loss, Sacramento's sixth in its last nine contests as the visitor.

On the injury front for the Kings, guard Tyronn Lue (calf) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Miami.

The Kings and Heat are playing the first of two meetings this season tonight. Sacramento is scheduled to host Miami on March 2 at ARCO Arena.

Miami went 2-0 against the Kings last season and has won seven straight, nine of 13 and 16 of the last 21 matchups in the series.

Sacramento has lost five straight and 10 of its last 11 trips to South Beach.
